This 40 mile ride starts from the Hammatt St. parking lot in Ipswich Massachusetts. After a short distance on County Road, we turn on some little-used local back roads and continue to charming Manchester by the Sea, where we often take a break at the coffee shop downtown. Our ride continues along two ocean coves and along the breathtaking rocky shoreline in tiny Magnolia before riding through Gloucester to the Eastern Point Lighthouse. After riding for a couple of miles along the beaches on Atlantic Road, we turn back through Gloucester's charming downtown continuing on some of our favorite back roads to Essex and Ipswich.
